WI historical notes of 1957
In 1957 the Womans Institute of White Roothing and Abbess Roothing produced in their words "A short historical note of the villages of White Roothing and Abbess Roothing". This short note consisted of 42 pages of information and photographs of the villages, now known as White Roding and Abbess Roding and will delight anyone interested in the history of these two villages in the Uttlesford District of Essex.
